SKY Daily Reset is a tool designed to support your success and well-being on a daily basis. Research indicates that even a few minutes of silence can have remarkable benefits for your nervous system, promoting increased calmness and focus. By combining this period of rest with powerful breathing techniques that stimulate your vagus nerve, eliminate cortisol and adrenaline from your system, and activate your executive functions, you can enhance your overall sense of well-being and achieve optimal performance!

Further studies have demonstrated that the key to attaining and sustaining peak performance lies not in pushing yourself continuously, but rather in your ability to “reset” effectively by releasing stress and returning to a state of relaxation. The better you become at quickly relaxing, the more easily you can regain top focus and performance, experience greater joy and awareness, and reduce stress and anxiety! Of all the relaxation methods available, very few are as efficient and immediate as breathwork. By mastering your breath, you can gain control over your mind, emotions, stress levels, and ability to concentrate!

To utilize this app, simply select the duration for your daily “reset” and enjoy a guided relaxation experience with or without breathing exercises.

This app serves as a valuable resource for youth, educators, and parents who have participated in the SKY Schools training programs (formerly known as YES! for Schools). SKY Schools (formerly YES! for Schools) is an evidence-informed social-emotional learning program committed to equipping young people with the skills and knowledge necessary for comprehensive health and success, encompassing physical well-being, mental well-being, and healthy lifestyle practices. We accomplish this by providing youth, educators, and communities with practical tools and life skills to enhance self-awareness, manage stress and emotions, and make responsible life choices. Our experiential curriculum includes stretching and exercise, targeted breathing techniques, communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, and life lessons on human values such as responsibility, respect, friendliness, kindness, and cooperation. As students learn how to manage their stress in a healthy manner, they exhibit greater confidence and motivation to succeed in school while making wholesome choices when confronted with life’s challenges. Our work in schools consistently leads to reduced disciplinary infractions and improved academic performance, resulting in safer and more harmonious learning environments.
